Happy what ??

I just don’t get people sometimes. I guess I am not very good at keeping my attittude to myself. I shouldn’t be working in a business that deals with the average Joe Public People.. But since I am crrently working with the public, I need to keep my thoughts..well just that thoughts.
Nobody reads this lame lil spot so I can say what I want here. I work in what I consider to be Mid-town at the ugliest little donut shop in town. Of course this a part time Job and I am only working there to make a little xtra christmas money, so I can buy my Husband something special for christmas. Anyways, some people can be down right hateful and rude ! Well so can I !
The place is where I work okay? I only work there,, @ guys came in to get donuts or whatever, and they commence to ring the stupid bell that sits on the counter. My Co- worker is standing right there talking to them and one of the stooges just randomly starts to ring the bell. Co Worker says to the dude, “excuse me ? is there something else you need?” dude …”uh, no” and then silence . I am looking on from the back of the shop (camera) & soon as she turns her back to do something else he reaches up and starts pounding on the bell again… this goes on for a second time around.
I came around the corner, and said you ring that one more time and I will charge you $20. bucks a ring. The idiot looks at me and says “what do you want? we didn’t call for you.”
My co-worker says to me, its okay, I got it under control” I turned around to go back to my cleaning, and that punk started with the bell again !! I’m a bit pissed off and want snap the little punks neck, or at least toss a fastball “donut” or the bell thingy at his head, but the co-worker stops me just before the dude gets hit. She takes the fun out of it! But she did ask them to leave.
Damn I really wanted to bean the creep with a donut.
I guess thats what I get for working out in the public.
but next time I see the sorry excuse of a grown young man,and that bell is handy, I am going to ring his bell !

TN cheese processor sued after immigrants walk off job

“If successful, the lawsuit, filed in Nashville’s U.S. District Court by the Southern Poverty Law Center on the workers’ behalf, could have broad implications for employers. It would reinforce the idea that labor laws apply to all workers, regardless of their immigration status.”

I hold no sympathy for the employer in this – I believe the employer should be SUED and put out of business for hiring any ILLEGALS (they are NOT *undocumented workers* anymore than a burglar is an undocumented family member).

The fact that the SPLC is involved should tell the story -  it is MONEY that is at the core of this action….  money for SPLC.  Their contributions must be on the low side again so they need some publicity to turn up the money grubbing machines.

The real danger in this lawsuit is the precedent it will set in law – it will provide legal standing to the ILLEGALS that they really do not have because they are ILLEGALS.  It will be another legal means to gain a *right* to be here and to work here in violation of existing law. 

Not one of the ILLEGALS involved should be granted any permission to remain in America.  In fact those involved should be banned from applying to return to America ever.

I say the employer should be sued and fined for hiring ILLEGALS but the ILLEGALS are lawbreakers and should not be rewarded for breaking American law.  And. most of all, SPLC should not gain one RED cent for being involved in this.

When the lawbreaker can sue and be rewarded for breaking the law (like the politicians and banksters) then we have no LAW in America – we have controlled application of dictatorial rule.

A group undocumented workers filed suit in Nashville today against a Manchester cheese factory, claiming they went weeks without pay and were threatened with deportation if they quit or complained.

If successful, the lawsuit, filed in Nashville’s U.S. District Court by the Southern Poverty Law Center on the workers’ behalf, could have broad implications for employers. It would reinforce the idea that labor laws apply to all workers, regardless of their immigration status.

Early last year, the Tennessee Supreme Court ruled the parents of an undocumented construction worker killed on the job should be paid workers compensation death benefits.

The suit alleges that Durrett Cheese Sales, its president and several members of the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department conspired to violate the labor and human rights of at least 12 workers.

Durrett Cheese filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2007. Its president, Greg Durrett, could not be reached for comment today.

According to the suit, Durrett recruited and hired several indigenous Mixteco Mexican workers to slice, package and process cheese for $6 to $6.75 an hour. A supervisor frequently referred to the workers as “stupid Indians” and “donkeys.”

The workers were issued partial paychecks, late paychecks and paychecks that drew on accounts with insufficient funds, according to the suit. Some workers went without pay for more than a month, according to the suit, while non-Latino workers at Durrett did not experience the same paycheck delays, threats or derogatory remarks. A Durrett supervisor also threatened that if the Mexican workers quit, they would not receive any of their pay.

In October 2007, the affected workers refused to leave the company break room and return to work until they received their back pay. When fired by a supervisor, the workers refused to leave.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department arrested the workers and jailed them for trespassing. The area district attorney dropped charges against the workers the following day, but the workers were kept in jail because Durrett Cheese staff “suggested they were undocumented immigrants,” according to a Southern Poverty Law Center press release.

The workers were ultimately interrogated by ICE in Nashville and detained for nine hours before an attorney secured their release. The workers are in the process of petitioning for an immigration status change.

If the suit is successful, the workers could be granted an unspecified amount of back wages, compensatory and punitive damages requested in the suit.

Untiteled Rant for the Moment

Okay ! Okay !   It’s get it time to move on and go in a different direction. I have and will continue to do so.

That said I will move on and go find somebody’s blog to read, since I can’t seem to come up with anything worth reading. Ha Ha I am the only one who ever reads my stoopid crap any way. Thats probably why I never put it in this bright glowing thing called monitor, or keyboard and that other thingy that does all the noise making and cyber stuff. What?        yes, I am a Loon, going bonkers

My rant for the day

Well as I start to write this, I have no clue what I am going to write. Nothing New about that, I have lots of thoughts & opinions in me that I have a hard time verbalizing or expressing. There is always SOMEBODY, that has an opion or idea about the things I say, are wrong. Just flat out wrong.
 I do not like to argue, I have given that up. Whats the point?
Arguing breeds anger & hostilities, anf that get frustrating. It escalates and gets really ugly.  I have learned within my immediate family, 3 sisters and 1 brother that it get us nowhere by arguing with each other.  I do have one of my sisters that is the “Perfect person” if ya don’t live within the guidelines that she thinks you should live in, your history. Oh she will speak to you, but with the facade face, which is her trademarke. Description: Smiling face, happy & cheerful attitude, not a thing wrong in her life because all is perfect. (just dont piss her off.
 Another Sister is a true Con-artist, & lives in a fantasy world, pretty much all of her life has been lived in her self created fantasy world.  The word “Grandios” has been used to describe her actions, and beliefs for her fantasy life. Can’t say much more with out giving away all details I have, that could be tru or untrue. Most of the stuff I have in re: is Lies, by Liz.
 I can fight like a crazy bitch tazmanian spaz taz with another sister, but it dosent last long. Never really goes past an hour even. There are subjects we disagree on, so we agree not to talk about them.  My brother, hmm, I can’t really remeber every really having an heated argument with, but if we have I am sure it didn’t last long.
 Me, Ha, What a freaking basket case, but a complete Survivor, of all that has gone wrong with my life. Most of the krap and I do mean krap, that I have gone through & done in my life I take full responsibility for. I don’t need anybody to tell me what a screwed up person I am and have been.
 If I get angry at someone, I don’t hold on to it for very long. It is a different story if I get a feeling about someone that is kind of eww, ?? I keep my distance. I will also keep my distance from a liar.  I can feel in my gut when someone is lying. Probably because I used to lie alot in my career as a drinking alcoholic.   At this point in my life I am not drinking alcohol of any kind. I am just me being me. While drinking I had been hospitalized  too many times to count, or that I want to admit to. But a few of the Hospital Visits, I almost didn’t live through. Thank god I did. I guess I was meant to stick around here and do something I have not done yet. And here I am. Go figure.
 I have alot to be grateful for, yet I think , umm, I mean I do harbour resentments. Which can be dangerous and get me into trouble with myself and the folks I care about.
Note to self, write out what my resentments are…

Maybe I should do this writing stuff more. After all who is going to read dumb stuff like this? :l

Cough Solution

WOW!! I was raised and raised my kids with Vicks..how come I
never knew this.can’t wait for my next cough…amazing!!!! READ IT
ALL, it works 100% of the time although the scientists at the Canada
Research council (who discovered it) aren’t sure why.To stop nighttime coughing in a child (or adult as we found out
personally), put Vicks Vapor rub generously on the bottom of the feet
at bedtime, then cover with socks.

Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and
stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. Works 100% of the time
and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription
cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comfort! ing
and they will sleep soundly.

I heard the head of the Canada Research Council describe these
findings on the part of their scientists when they were investigating
the effectiveness and usage of prescription cough medicines in
children as compared to alternative therapies like acupressure. Just
happened to tune in A.M. Radio and picked up this guy talking about
why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good due to the
chemical makeup of these strong drugs so, I listened. It was a
surprising finding and found to be more effective than prescribed
medicines for children at bedtime, and in addition, to have a soothing
and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly.

My wife tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and
persistent cough a few weeks ago and it worked 100%! She said that it
felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a
few minutes and believe me, this was! a deep , ( incredibly annoying!)
every few seconds uncontrollable cough, and she slept cough free for
hours every night that she used it.

So, if you have Grandchildren, pass it on, if you end up sick,
try it yourself and you will be absolutely amazed by the effect.

 

Home Sweet Home

Ok,lets see if I can do this. Please bear with me here, I am new to this and know not what I am doing here. Not that any body but me and maybe two other people I will tell about this place. I goof off a little with that other place called Multiply, even tried Myspace but I just don’t get all the flashy & really flashy things that goes on there. I tried to do the flashy thing but never seem to remember how to get back to undo or re-do.

The mspce place is probably growing Mold anyways. Fine by me……Ok so I wrote a stupid little paragraph, so let see what happens now…Can you do pictures here too? Hmm lets see..
